A Special Mother's Day Healing Circle for Motherless Daughters

Not everyone has the privilege of physically being with their mother on Mother's Day.

Join other women who can relate to your sacred situation. Share stories. Take class. Uplift and support each other.

This is a very special healing event created just for you.

This 3-hour event will include a feminine movement class, a chakra balancing meditation for self-love, light refreshments, and plenty of loving connection.

A percentage of the proceeds will go to My Friend's Place (http://myfriendsplace.org/), an organization that assists and inspires homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.

There are many reasons you may not be with your mother on Mother's Day. Whatever the reason, you don't have to be alone.

Come to this safe space and let us all heal together.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS:

This event has been lovingly customized for "motherless daughters" by Amelia Fortes, C. Ht. & Leah Petersen-Perlman, Feminine Movement Instructor. (Leah is also a bad ass mixologist and will be making the cocktails and mocktails for the event! Woot woot.)

AMELIA FORTES, C. Ht. is a self-love coach who loves creating safe and healing spaces for women to express all the things that are difficult to express "out there".

In a world where women's voices and emotions are often shut down, she prides herself in cultivating a space where a woman can feel free.

She created Self Love Story and The Self Love Healing Center so that women could have a place to honor their feelings, and truly be seen, heard, and loved. She feels it is important to make healing and self-care a priority and she would love for you to join her.

Amelia's mother passed away 5 years ago (April 2013) and each year she learns new ways to cope and grieve. She lives far from her siblings and has only a few friends who can relate to not having a mother to celebrate on Mother's Day. This year, she didn't want to be alone and thought there were probably others who felt the same.

LEAH PETERSEN-PERLMAN is a Feminine Movement Instructor based in Los Angeles. She loves inspiring women and helping them feel good in their own skin. She is a transformational leader helping women find their most authentic self-expression.

Leah's mother lives in Minnesota and they only get to see each other 1-2x per year. When Amelia approached Leah about this idea to get "motherless daughters" together, she was all for it!

We hope you join us!
